Social Work Intern

About the role#

Springpoint Senior Living is seeking a Social Work Intern to support our Life Plan Communities across New Jersey. This is a paid, on-site internship opportunity.

What you'll do#

• Assist in conducting resident intake assessments and needs evaluations.
• Observe and participate in employee meetings, counseling sessions, and group programs.
• Help maintain accurate and confidential resident records in compliance with regulations.
• Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and training sessions.
• Assist with program development, outreach, and administrative tasks as needed.

What you'll need#

• Current status as a rising Junior or Senior in a college or university program, with a preference for majors in Psychology, Sociology, or Human Resources.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Location & details#

• Location: Wall Township, New Jersey.
• Work Modality: On-site.
• Compensation: $25-27 per hour.
