About the role#
The Moorings at Lewes is seeking an Activities Intern for the Summer 2026 term. This internship offers the opportunity to gain experience in a Life Plan Community, working across assisted living, skilled nursing, and memory care settings.
What you'll do#
- Assist with planning and implementing activities, including games, crafts, music, exercise, socials, and special events.
- Encourage resident participation by engaging individuals and adapting activities to suit specific abilities and interests.
- Provide social interaction and companionship to residents.
- Support activity setup and cleanup, including material preparation and organizing activity spaces.
- Assist with tracking resident attendance and completing basic activity documentation.
- Contribute ideas for activity calendars and bulletin boards.
- Shadow staff during new admission activity assessments and room visits.
- Design and lead activities under staff supervision.
What you'll need#
- Must be a rising Junior or Senior currently enrolled in a college or university.
- Preferred fields of study include Psychology, Nursing, or Public Health.
- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Compensation: $19 per hour.
