    About the role#

    This is a 10 to 12 week project based internship for Summer 2027. You will work 40 hours per week in a professional office environment. This is a paid position and housing is provided if needed. You will contribute to real work that supports our business goals.

    What you'll do#

    • Complete specific assignments directed by stakeholders, committees, transmission planning, or network modeling.
    • Provide technical support to help project groups meet time schedules.
    • Develop a fundamental understanding of transmission system concepts.
    • Deliver a final presentation to demonstrate lessons learned and knowledge gained.
    • Support business goals through project based work.

    What you'll need#

    • You must be a college student entering your Senior year working toward a Bachelor of Science in Engineering.
    • Your degree must be in a calculus based engineering field, such as Electrical, Computer, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering, from an ABET accredited university.
    • You need a 3.0 GPA or above.
    • You should have an expressed desire to work in the Power industry after graduation.
    • Please note that we are unable to provide employment visa or student work authorization sponsorship for this position.

    Location & details#

    • Location: Little Rock, Arkansas.
    • Modality: On-site.
    • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
