About the role#
The Maintenance Programs Solutions & Analytics intern supports the Performance and Technology Team within the Technical Operations department. This role focuses on driving business process improvements, technology strategy, and analytics for aircraft maintenance programs. You will collaborate with teams across Engineering, Supply Chain, and Technology to support projects that enhance efficiency and data-driven decision-making.
What you'll do#
- Identify operational improvement opportunities and design scalable solutions.
- Analyze complex data sets to derive insights for long-term strategy.
- Build reports, dashboards, and presentations to measure operational performance.
- Assist in planning, tracking, and executing projects using continuous improvement practices.
- Support cross-functional teams in evaluating operational challenges and recommending data-driven solutions.
- Coordinate and facilitate meetings with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership.
- Create and deliver presentations for the executive level to support business cases and drive alignment.
- Proactively monitor project risks, issues, and scope.
- Evaluate existing technologies and business processes to support modernization.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a full-time student pursuing a degree in Engineering, Aviation, Business Analytics, or a similar field.
- Minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau, or similar analysis and visualization tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- Must be at least 18 years of age and hold a valid U.S. Social Security Number.
- Preference for students with at least 3 semesters remaining after the internship ends and those pursuing a 4-year undergraduate degree.
Location & details#
- Location: Dallas, Texas.
- Term: Summer 2027, from May 18 to August 8, 2027.
- Work Modality: On-site at our corporate campus.
- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
- Compensation: $24-$28 per hour, based on progress toward degree.
