About the role#
As a Labor Planning & Analytics intern, you will join the Labor Relations Department to support the development and execution of union negotiation strategies. You will assist in providing strategic analysis and planning for labor contract negotiations, helping to develop hypotheses on complex issues involving economics and labor strategy. This is a 12-week, full-time internship running from May 18 to August 8, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Gather, analyze, and interpret quantitative and qualitative data on the competitive landscape to generate actionable insights.
- Support consultants by analyzing data, crafting narratives, and creating executive-ready presentations.
- Define and execute project plans for multiple simultaneous projects while identifying risks and developing mitigation plans.
- Lead and facilitate project meetings and presentations for leadership.
- Enhance the department knowledge of key economic and industry-related topics.
- Maintain a high level of individual ownership over assigned tasks and rapidly build subject matter familiarity.
- Draft status reports to communicate project progress and key issues to stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a full-time student pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- A minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA at the time of application.
- At least 18 years of age and a valid U.S. Social Security Number.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information.
- Preferred experience includes quantitative analysis, data modeling, developing presentations, and problem-solving with cross-functional teams.
Location & details#
- This role is based on-site at our headquarters in Dallas, Texas.
- The position requires a 40-hour work week, Monday through Friday.
- We do not offer work authorization sponsorship for this role.
