About the role#
The Facilities Planning Intern supports the Corporate Facilities Team by driving strategic projects and ensuring alignment across departments. You will assist with cross-functional initiatives, process improvements, and project oversight to ensure high-quality execution. The role involves conducting research, preparing reports, and providing data-driven insights to help leadership make informed decisions.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with leaders and team members to deliver prioritized department objectives.
- Drive internal and cross-departmental initiatives to support facilities strategy and process improvement.
- Deliver process enhancements and lead special projects across the facilities function.
- Perform project oversight to ensure work is planned, executed, and reported on time.
- Conduct ad hoc research and analysis to assist with decision-making.
- Develop accurate and comprehensive reports for management.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Current enrollment as a full-time student in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Data Analytics, Project Management, Consulting, Facilities Management, or a similar field.
- Minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and stay organized in complex situations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to use data to draw conclusions and communicate findings clearly.
- Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment.
- Preference for candidates with at least 3 semesters remaining after the internship ends.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, on-site internship located at our Dallas, TX headquarters.
- The term runs for 12 weeks, from May 18, 2027, to August 8, 2027.
- Interns are expected to work 40 hours per week, with a maximum of 8 hours per day.
- Pay ranges from $21 to $24 per hour, depending on your progress toward your degree.
- This position does not offer work authorization sponsorship.
