About the role#
This internship provides a comprehensive introduction to banking operations, risk management, and career paths within Card Services, Cash Services, and Deposit Operations. You will work alongside experienced banking professionals to gain hands-on exposure to operational processes and business initiatives. The program includes an onboarding week, mentorship, a speaker series with senior leaders, and various networking events.
What you'll do#
- Participate in workshops, training sessions, and special projects.
- Gain exposure to Regulation E dispute processing, ATM operations, and deposit account maintenance including ACH, check, and wire processing.
- Conduct market research to identify client needs and support service recommendations.
- Assist with data analytics, due diligence on operational platforms, and document reviews.
- Collaborate with operations managers, analysts, and team leaders on consumer and business initiatives.
- Support efforts to enhance user engagement and promote banking services.
- Manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a professional environment.
What you'll need#
- Current undergraduate student pursuing a bachelor degree in Business Management, Project Management, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Rising senior status with an expected graduation date in 2028.
- 3.4 GPA preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Strong analytical and creative mindset with an eagerness to learn.
- Effective collaboration skills and the ability to remain dependable under pressure.
- Completion of mandatory new hire compliance training and orientation.
