About the role#
Southern New Hampshire University is looking for a student to join our athletics team. You will work with the Director of Athletics Communications and the Communications Manager for Social Media and Content to promote our campus sports programs. This is a part-time position requiring 10 hours per week with a negotiable schedule.
What you'll do#
- Create written, photo, and video content for platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Attend campus athletics events to document the action on the field and the atmosphere in the stands.
- Update in-game social media templates using Adobe Photoshop.
- Design flyers and graphics for social media use.
- Participate in weekly brainstorming sessions to share a student perspective on athletics content.
- Help train other students on social media tasks to support our accounts.
What you'll need#
- You must be enrolled full-time in an Undergraduate Day program.
- We prefer candidates with undergraduate degrees in Marketing, Art and Design, or Liberal Arts, especially those pursuing a graduate degree in a marketing-related field.
- Skills in video editing and photography are a major plus.
Location & details#
- This role is based on-site in New Hampshire.
- The position is paid with an hourly range of $13.00 to $15.00.
