Administration Internship, North America Copyright

About the role#

This internship offers exposure to the worldwide administration of Sony Music Publishing catalogs, including Pop, Latin, Hip-Hop, and R&B. Interns will gain insight into processing song deliveries, liaising with income sources, managing song data, and handling copyright registrations within a professional music publishing environment.

What you'll do#

• Shadow team members to learn about various roles and functions within Copyright Administration.
• Research, prepare, and file Copyright Registrations with the U.S. Copyright Office.
• Update and maintain records within the company database.
• Scan, upload, and index documents into the cloud-based document retention system.
• Assist the team with ongoing tasks and projects.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a college or university.
• A passion for the music and entertainment business with a desire to build a career in the industry.
• Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
• An interest in Music Publishing Administration is preferred.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Location & details#

• Location: Nashville, Tennessee (On-site).
• Compensation: $18 per hour.
• Status: Full-time, paid internship with a rolling term.
