Sony Corporation of America is seeking a law student intern for the Fall 2026 semester to support the Legal, Ethics & Trust Department. This paid internship provides hands-on training within an in-house legal department. Interns are expected to work approximately 15-20 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Assist lawyers with transactional, litigation, and corporate matters.
- Research legal issues and draft internal memos.
- Review agreements and other legal documentation.
- Attend client meetings and participate in negotiations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an ABA-accredited law school.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Interest or background in technology, media, or related industries.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks to completion.
- Authorization to work in the United States.

- Location: New York, NY.
- Modality: Hybrid (in-person 1-2 days per week).
- Term: Fall 2026 (starting September 2026).
- Compensation: $23.00 per hour, eligible for overtime.
