About the role#
The Sony Pictures Television Social Marketing department manages social handles for current and library series. This team works with Brand Marketing to align on strategies for shows like The Boys, The Night Agent, and Outlander. You will help build and innovate these social channels while gaining hands-on experience in the entertainment industry.
What you'll do#
- Schedule and publish social content while maintaining the SPT social calendar.
- Track social and cultural trends to generate timely content ideas.
- Edit and deliver quick-turn photo and video assets for reactive posting.
- Brainstorm and develop social concepts to support press junkets and red-carpet events.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or Creative Design/Editing.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, and emerging channels.
- Ability to craft social copy that drives conversation and supports community management.
- Proactive mindset with a willingness to pitch fresh ideas.
- Highly organized with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere, Illustrator, and Photoshop, is preferred.
- A passion for television and film marketing is a plus.
Location & details#
- Location: Culver City, California.
- Term: Fall 2026 (September 8 or 14 to December 11, 2026).
- Modality: On-site, part-time (10-29 hours per week).
- Compensation: $19 per hour.
