About the role#
The Sony Pictures Television Social Marketing department manages social media handles for current and library series. This team works with Brand Marketing to align on strategies and activations for shows like The Boys, The Night Agent, and Outlander. You will contribute to social ideation and produce content captured on-set, at junkets, and during red-carpet events.
What you'll do#
- Schedule and publish social content while maintaining the SPT social calendar.
- Track social and cultural trends to generate content ideas.
- Edit and deliver quick-turn photo and video assets.
- Brainstorm and develop social concepts to amplify events.
- Support social strategies and activations.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or Graphic Design.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, and emerging channels.
- Proactive approach to pitching fresh ideas.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to craft social copy that drives conversation.
- Preferred: Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, Illustrator, and Photoshop) and previous experience managing social media accounts.
Location & details#
- Location: Culver City, California.
- Term: Fall 2026 (September 8 or 14 to December 11, 2026).
- Modality: On-site, part-time (10-29 hours per week).
- Compensation: $19 per hour.
