About the role#
The Sales Intern for Sony Pictures Classics supports the daily operations of the Sales Department. This paid internship offers hands-on experience within the entertainment industry, focusing on independent and foreign language film distribution.
What you'll do#
- Fulfill orders for promotional materials including posters and trailers.
- Conduct research projects and compile data reports to support sales initiatives.
- Audit theater websites to ensure information accuracy.
- Track film releases across various calendars.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to multitask effectively.
- Willingness to contribute as a team member.
- Preferred: Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Photoshop.
- Preferred: An interest in American independent and foreign language films.
Location & details#
- Location: New York, New York.
- Work Modality: On-site, three days per week (Monday through Thursday).
- Schedule: Part-time, 10 to 29 hours per week.
- Term: Fall 2026 (September 8 or 14 through December 11, 2026).
- Compensation: $19 per hour.
