About the role#
This internship with the Sony Pictures Classics Post Production team offers hands-on experience in the creation, delivery, and quality control of film materials. You will support the team in managing theatrical and post-theatrical assets while gaining exposure to the business side of independent and international film distribution.
What you'll do#
- Maintain an extensive archive database of film materials.
- Perform quality control checks on screeners and trailer cards.
- Assist with bill pay coding and entry.
- Conduct market research projects.
- Perform general administrative duties.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university for the duration of the internship.
- Strong administrative skills.
- Ability to multitask.
- Knowledge of American independent and international films.
- Preferred majors include Communications, Media Studies, Business Administration, or Graphic Design.
Location & details#
- Location: New York, New York.
- Term: Fall 2026 (September 8 or 14 through December 11, 2026).
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Part-time (10-29 hours per week).
- Compensation: $19 per hour.
- This is a paid internship.
