About the role#
This internship with Sony Nonfiction provides hands-on experience in unscripted television and content creation. You will support the team at B17 Entertainment, which produces a variety of genres including game shows, cooking programs, and social experiments. This is a paid, part-time position designed for students or recent graduates looking to gain professional experience in the entertainment industry.
What you'll do#
- Research and write copy for sales decks.
- Source images and footage for sales decks and sizzle reels.
- Assist with editing string outs.
- Contribute new ideas during group brainstorms.
- Monitor and report on trends across social media platforms.
- Assist on set during shoots, when opportunities are available.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in college or a recent graduate.
- Demonstrated writing experience.
- Strong research skills.
- Proficiency in Canva and Photoshop.
- Experience with AI image generation.
- An interest in unscripted content and a self-starting attitude.
- Academic background in Communications, Media Studies, Journalism, Graphic Design, or Business Administration is preferred.
