About the role#
The Current Programming department manages the day-to-day operations of television shows produced by the studio. Executives in this department guide the script writing process, review episode cuts, and act as a liaison between the production and other studio departments. This internship provides an opportunity to observe these processes and gain insight into how a major studio operates.
What you'll do#
- Provide general backup support for department assistants to ensure coverage for the show slate.
- Roll calls, take notes during meetings and calls, and assist with scheduling.
- Maintain department organization and anticipate team needs.
- Manage show data in the Xpanse studio database and update department staffing grids in Airtable.
- Engage with Current Programming executives and other studio staff to learn about the business.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university for the duration of the internship.
- Passion for working at a major studio in scripted television.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and extreme attention to detail.
- Ability to exercise discretion in a busy corporate environment.
- Preferred majors include Communications, Media Studies, Business Administration, or Marketing.
- Previous entertainment internship experience and familiarity with Airtable are preferred.

- Location: Culver City, California.
- Term: Fall 2026 (September 8 or 14 through December 11, 2026).
- Modality: This is an on-site, part-time position (10-29 hours per week).
- Compensation: This is a paid position with an anticipated base salary of $19 per hour.
