About the role#
This paid internship offers a mix of field coaching and office experience. You will spend half of your time leading soccer sessions for children and the other half supporting business, marketing, and community event operations. This role is designed for students in Business Administration, Marketing, Operations Management, Communications, or Kinesiology who want to learn the day-to-day operations of a youth sports franchise.
What you'll do#
- Lead fun and engaging soccer sessions for children between 18 months and 8 years old.
- Support marketing initiatives and business operations from the office.
- Assist with community events.
- Participate in both online and in-person training.
What you'll need#
- A passion for positively impacting children through sports and fitness.
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- A valid driver's license and access to an insured personal vehicle.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Prior experience working with children is preferred.
Location & details#
- Location: Frederick, Maryland.
- Term: Fall 2026 (August 17 to December 4).
- Work Modality: Hybrid (50% on-field coaching and 50% office and events).
- Schedule: Part-time, 30+ hours per week, including weekend availability.
- Compensation: $13.25 to $17.95 per hour.
