About the role#
We are looking for part-time soccer coaches to lead children through our non-competitive curriculum. You will help develop character, motor skills, and teamwork in children ages 2-8. This is a part-time position, typically ranging from 3 to 10 hours per week, with consistent weekly shifts for the duration of each season.
What you'll do#
- Lead children through our soccer curriculum at preschools, daycare facilities, and public programs.
- Set up and break down field equipment for each session.
- Communicate professionally with site staff and parents.
- Positively impact the lives of children through sport.
What you'll need#
- Experience working with children ages 2-8.
- Reliable transportation, specifically a car, to travel between locations.
- Ability to pass a Livescan background check and health screening.
- Proof of TdAP and MMR vaccinations and a negative TB test result.
- Ability to work on your feet and periodically lift up to 20 pounds.
- A responsible, professional, enthusiastic, and patient demeanor.
- 12 accredited ECE units in Early Childhood Development are preferred.
- Soccer experience as a player or coach is preferred but not required.

- This is an on-site, part-time role with rolling start dates.
- Coaches are needed across the East Bay, including Pleasanton, Dublin, Livermore, San Ramon, Danville, Alamo, Walnut Creek, Concord, Clayton, Pleasant Hill, Martinez, Moraga, Lafayette, Orinda, Brentwood, and Hercules.
- We welcome applicants from majors including Psychology, Sociology, and Kinesiology.
