About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in business, marketing, operations, and sports management. You will work alongside the leadership team on real projects rather than performing administrative tasks. The role is paid and offers a flexible schedule to accommodate classes.
What you'll do#
About half of your time involves coaching Soccer Shots sessions across the Richmond area. The rest of your time is spent on operational and marketing tasks, including:
- Coordinating seasonal schedules
- Running community events and Free Fun Days
- Creating social media content
- Visiting partner schools
- Assisting with marketing campaigns
- Recruiting future coaches
- Supporting season operations
- Executing special events
- Working with the leadership team on business projects
What you'll need#
We look for candidates with a positive attitude who are energetic and dependable. You should be great with people and eager to learn. Specific requirements include:
- At least 18 years old
- Reliable transportation
- Eligible to work in the U.S.
- Passion for working with children
- Interest in sports, business, education, or leadership
- Soccer experience is helpful but not required
