About the role#
This paid internship offers hands-on experience in youth sports management. You will split your time between coaching on the field and working on business tasks in the office. The role runs for the Fall 2026 term, specifically from August 17 to December 4. You will work at least 30 hours per week and must be available to work on weekends.
What you'll do#
- Lead fun, engaging soccer sessions for children between 18 months and 8 years old.
- Support various marketing initiatives.
- Assist with daily business operations.
- Help coordinate and run community events.
What you'll need#
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- A valid driver's license and access to an insured personal vehicle are required.
- You must be able to pass a background check.
- Prior experience working with children is preferred.
- A desire to positively impact children through sports and fitness.
- This role is suitable for students pursuing a degree in Business Administration.
Location & details#
- This is a hybrid position with 50% of time spent on-field coaching and 50% in the office or at events.
- You will work in and around Arlington, Virginia, and Burtonsville, Maryland.
- Reliable transportation is required to travel between the office and various coaching sites.
