About the role#
This internship offers a mix of field coaching and office work. You will spend roughly half your time leading soccer sessions for children and the other half supporting our business operations. It is a chance to gain hands-on experience in youth sports management while making a direct impact on your community.
What you'll do#
- Lead fun and engaging soccer sessions for children ages 18 months to 8 years.
- Assist with marketing initiatives and general business operations.
- Help coordinate and support community events.
- Participate in both online and in-person training sessions.
What you'll need#
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- A passion for working with children and using sports to promote fitness.
- Prior experience working with children is preferred.
- A valid driver license and access to an insured personal vehicle.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Majors in Marketing, Business Administration, Psychology, or Communications are encouraged to apply.
Location & details#
- Location: Washington, DC area.
- Term: Fall 2026 (August 17 to December 4).
- Modality: Hybrid role involving on-site coaching and office work.
- Schedule: 30+ hours per week, including weekend availability.
- Compensation: Paid internship with pay ranging from $13.25 to $17.95 per hour.
