About the role#
This internship offers a look into the operations of a growing business in the youth sports industry. You will gain experience across sales, operations, and coaching while working with children ages 2 to 8. We look for candidates who can commit to the role for an extended period to experience the full seasonal cycle of our business. This is a paid, full-time position that offers flexibility in your schedule.
What you'll do#
- Lead soccer sessions for children ages 2 to 8, including setting up and taking down fields.
- Assist with sales and development initiatives, including designing and implementing marketing plans.
- Help hire, train, and evaluate coaching staff.
- Support the launch of our new registration system and coordinate seasonal preparations for school and park programs.
- Act as a representative for the company at various events.
- Provide customer service to families and partner schools.

- The physical ability to stand, jog, and model soccer skills for young children.

- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Operations Management.

- Location: Des Moines, Iowa.
- Work Modality: Hybrid.
- Compensation: $18 per session for coaching and $15 per hour for administrative tasks.
