About the role#
This internship offers a mix of field coaching and office experience. You will work with children ages 18 months to 8 years old to introduce them to sports. The role balances active coaching sessions with administrative tasks to provide a view of how a youth sports franchise operates.
What you'll do#
- Lead fun and engaging soccer sessions for children.
- Support marketing efforts and business operations.
- Assist with community events.
- Gain experience in both field coaching and office management.
What you'll need#
- A desire to impact children through sports and fitness.
- You must be at least 18 years of age.
- A valid driver's license and access to an insured personal vehicle.
- Reliable transportation for commuting to the office and various coaching sites.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Prior experience working with children is preferred but not required.
Location & details#
- Location: Washington, DC area.
- Term: Fall 2026 (August 17 to December 4).
- Work Modality: Hybrid, with 50% on-field coaching and 50% office and events.
- Schedule: Full-time, 30+ hours per week, including weekends.
- Majors: Business Administration, Marketing, Operations Management, Psychology, or Communications.
