About the role#
We are looking for an Electrical Intern to join our team in Houston. This is a paid, full-time position with a rolling term. You will work on-site and assist our engineering staff with technical activities and project production. We are looking for candidates interested in long-term growth within the firm.
What you'll do#
- Assist engineering staff with technical activities on assigned projects.
- Participate in technical studies, investigations, and designs under supervision.
- Help the project team produce project deliverables.
- Handle and manipulate plans periodically.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Ability to learn the basics of design and analysis within the discipline.
- Proficiency with a computer to check email and produce documents using standard software.
- Ability to traverse and navigate construction sites to inspect contractor work.
- Physical ability to lift plans weighing up to 30 pounds.
