Inventory Specialist Intern

About the role#

The Inventory Specialist Intern supports daily parts room operations by maintaining accurate inventory levels, organizing materials, and ensuring the timely availability of components. This position offers hands-on experience in supply chain and warehouse management.

What you'll do#

• Receive, inspect, and log incoming parts and materials.
• Organize and maintain inventory to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
• Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory audits.
• Track inventory levels and report any discrepancies.
• Pick, pack, and stage parts for internal or customer use.
• Update inventory records in internal systems and spreadsheets.
• Collaborate with procurement, operations, and service teams.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar tools.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and take initiative.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, and lift/carry items up to 30–50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment with frequent bending, reaching, and stooping.
