    About the role#

    This internship provides an opportunity to gain a comprehensive understanding of the news production process from start to finish. Through a combination of observational learning and hands-on experience, interns will work with the news team at WCTI/WYDO. This is an unpaid internship intended for students seeking academic credit.

    What you'll do#

    • Participate in news production tasks through hands-on work and observation.
    • Work 10-20 hours per week, depending on your university's specific requirements.
    • Fulfill assigned duties across various time slots.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in an accredited college or university, with preference given to students entering their junior or senior year or a graduate program.
    • Registration in an internship course at your institution to receive academic credit for the duration of the program.
    • Pursuit of a degree in Journalism, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field.
    • Minimum age of 18.
    • Reliable transportation.

    • Compensation: This is an unpaid internship and does not include benefits. Future employment is not guaranteed.
