About the role#
Sinclair Inc. is seeking a News Intern for the Fall 2026 term. This internship provides an opportunity to contribute to news coverage for broadcast and digital platforms while gaining experience in a professional newsroom environment.
What you'll do#
- Assist in researching, writing, and producing news stories for broadcast and digital platforms.
- Work alongside reporters, anchors, producers, and photographers in the newsroom and in the field.
- Bring fresh story ideas to the table to help shape local news coverage.
- Learn to shoot video and frame compelling visuals.
- Gain exposure to control room operations and the production of live broadcasts.
What you'll need#
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be at least a sophomore enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, or a recent graduate, at an accredited college or university.
- Pursuing a degree in Journalism, Communications, Media Studies, or English.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
- Must have reliable transportation.
