    About the role#

    KUTV is seeking Studio Production Interns to join the team in Salt Lake City. This position provides an opportunity to gain practical experience in broadcast production through observational learning and hands-on participation in daily live newscasts.

    What you'll do#

    • Support studio production across various assigned time slots.
    • Observe and assist with newscast operations from inside the control room and on the studio set.
    • Participate directly in the execution of live daily newscasts.

    What you'll need#

    • Currently pursuing a degree in journalism, mass communications, communications, film, or a related field.
    • A strong interest in gaining firsthand experience with news production.
    • Ability to engage in active, hands-on work within a live broadcast environment.

    • Location: Salt Lake City, Utah.
    • Modality: On-site.
    • Term: Rolling.
    • Compensation: This is an unpaid internship.
