About the role#
As an intern at Simmons Foods, you will work on projects that impact the organization. You will build relationships across departments and focus on your professional growth. This role balances project work with daily operations to provide a well-rounded learning experience.
What you'll do#
- Complete a challenging project and present your findings to the team and senior leaders.
- Perform day-to-day tasks to learn the fundamentals of our processes.
- Build a culture of continuous improvement by finding ways to eliminate waste.
- Coordinate with team members to ensure best practices.
- Maintain knowledge of quality, security, and company policy operating systems.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Operations Management, or Supply Chain Management.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
- Knowledge of business and management principles.
- A willingness to lead, take charge, and offer opinions.
- Ability to work on your feet for multiple hours and lift at least 10 pounds.

- This is a full-time, paid internship located in Gentry, Arkansas.
- The term is for Summer 2027.
- This role is on-site.
