About the role#
This is a paid pharmacy internship at a Shoppers Drug Mart location in Montreal. You will gain practical experience in a community pharmacy setting while working under the guidance of local store owners. This role is designed to help you develop your professional skills and prepare for your future career as a pharmacist.
What you'll do#
- Greet customers as they enter the pharmacy.
- Manage privacy requirements, including client confidentiality and consent protocols.
- Maintain clear identifiability to the public while on duty.
- Provide care to patients and assist with pharmacy operations.
- Improve your communication with patients and other healthcare professionals.
- Develop your knowledge of over-the-counter products, disease management, and drug therapies.
- Learn the day-to-day management of a retail pharmacy.

- You must be a student currently enrolled in a pharmacy program.

Location & details#
- Location: 4720 Rue Jarry Est, Montreal, QC.
- Status: Part-time, on-site.
- Pay: $25.20 to $32.75 per hour, based on experience and knowledge.
