About the role#
This position offers pharmacy students practical experience within a community retail setting. You will work in a locally owned store while gaining exposure to the operations of a pharmacy. The role is designed to enhance your academic learning through real-world training and prepares you for a future career as a pharmacist.
What you'll do#
- Deliver health, beauty, and convenience services to the local community.
- Provide an exceptional shopping experience for pharmacy customers.
- Acknowledge all customers who approach the pharmacy.
- Ensure all privacy requirements, including customer confidentiality and consent management, are met.
- Maintain a professional appearance so you are clearly identifiable to the public.
- Learn about the expanding roles of the community pharmacist, including over-the-counter products, disease state management, and patient counseling.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a program such as Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biology, Health Administration, or Nursing.
- An interest in community pharmacy practice and patient care.
- Ability to work flexible shifts in a part-time capacity.

- Location: 3327 Lakeshore Road, Unit 101, Kelowna, BC.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $22.00 - $28.75 per hour.
- Term: Rolling.
