About the role#
This position offers practical experience for students pursuing careers in pharmacy within a community setting. You will work in a locally owned store to support health and wellness services, gaining exposure to the daily operations of a retail pharmacy while enhancing your clinical and patient-care skills.
What you'll do#
- Acknowledge and assist all customers who approach the pharmacy counter.
- Ensure all privacy requirements, including customer confidentiality and consent management, are strictly met.
- Maintain a professional presence and remain clearly identifiable to the public.
- Provide an exceptional service experience for pharmacy customers.
- Support the practice of pharmacy and learn the skills necessary to manage a retail environment.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a program such as Pharmaceutical Sciences, Nursing, Health Administration, Biomedical Sciences, or Public Health.
- A passion for providing exceptional customer service.
- Knowledge of over-the-counter (OTC) products and disease state management.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with patients, staff, and other healthcare workers.

- Location: Coquitlam, British Columbia.
- Schedule: Part-time, flexible shifts.
- Compensation: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour.
- Work Modality: On-site.
