Pharmacy Student, Hourly Part Time Flexible Shifts

About the role#

This position offers pharmacy students practical, real-world experience within a community pharmacy setting. You will work under a local Associate-Owner to gain insight into the evolving role of the community pharmacist, supporting the delivery of health and wellness services while enhancing your clinical and retail management skills.

What you'll do#

• Greet and acknowledge all customers approaching the pharmacy.
• Provide an exceptional service experience for pharmacy customers.
• Ensure all privacy requirements are met, including maintaining customer confidentiality and managing consent.
• Learn to manage a retail pharmacy environment.
• Enhance your communication skills with patients, staff, and other healthcare professionals.
• Expand your knowledge of over-the-counter (OTC) products, disease state management, drug therapy, and patient counseling.

What you'll need#

• Enrollment in a program related to Pharmaceutical Sciences, Nursing, Public Health, or Health Administration.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• A foundational understanding of pharmacy practice.
• Knowledge of OTC products.
• A demonstrated ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
