Pharmacy Student, Hourly Part Time Day

About the role#

This part-time pharmacy student position offers practical experience within a community pharmacy setting. You will work in a retail environment designed to enhance your academic training, focusing on the expanding roles of a community pharmacist and the management of a retail pharmacy.

What you'll do#

• Acknowledge all customers approaching the pharmacy.
• Provide an exceptional shopping experience for pharmacy customers.
• Ensure all privacy requirements are met, including customer confidentiality and consent management.
• Maintain clear identification to the public while on duty.
• Support customers and gain hands-on experience in drug therapy, patient counseling, and disease state management.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing studies in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Nursing, or Health Administration.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with patients, staff, and healthcare workers.
• Ability to meet all privacy and confidentiality requirements.
• Knowledge of over-the-counter (OTC) products and disease state management.
• Demonstrated customer service skills.
