Part-Time Pharmacy Student

About the role#

This part-time position offers pharmacy students practical experience in a community pharmacy setting. You will work in a retail environment designed to enhance your academic training, focusing on the expanding role of the community pharmacist and preparing for success in the field.

What you'll do#

• Acknowledge all customers approaching the pharmacy.
• Ensure all privacy requirements, including customer confidentiality and consent management, are met.
• Maintain clear visibility to the public while on duty.
• Gain hands-on experience in disease state management and drug therapy.
• Develop skills necessary to manage a retail pharmacy.
• Enhance communication skills when interacting with patients, employees, and other healthcare workers.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Nursing, or Health Administration.
• Knowledge of OTC products and drug therapy.
• Ability to manage customer confidentiality and privacy requirements.
• Commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
