About the role#
This position offers practical experience for students pursuing careers in pharmacy. Working within a community setting, you will gain exposure to the expanding roles of a community pharmacist while receiving real-world training to complement your academic studies.
What you'll do#
- Deliver health, beauty, and convenience services to the community.
- Provide an exceptional shopping experience for pharmacy customers.
- Enhance your knowledge of OTC products, disease state management, drug therapy, and patient counseling.
- Develop the skills necessary to manage a retail pharmacy.
- Prepare for a future career as a pharmacist in a community setting.
- Acknowledge all customers approaching the pharmacy and ensure you are clearly identifiable to the public.
- Maintain customer confidentiality, consent management, and all privacy requirements.
- Improve communication skills with patients, staff, and other health care workers.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a relevant field of study, such as Pharmaceutical Sciences, Health Administration, Biology, or Nursing.
