About the role#
This position offers practical experience for pharmacy students within a community retail setting. You will work in a locally owned store to support health and wellness services for the community. The role focuses on providing real world training to supplement your academic studies and preparing you for a career as a community pharmacist.
What you'll do#
- Greet and assist all customers who approach the pharmacy.
- Ensure all privacy requirements, including confidentiality and consent management, are met.
- Provide an exceptional experience for pharmacy customers.
- Enhance your knowledge of disease state management, OTC products, and drug therapy.
- Learn the essential skills required to manage retail pharmacy operations.
- Practice communication skills with patients, staff, and other health care workers.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Nursing, Public Health, or Health Administration.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Knowledge of OTC products and an understanding of drug therapy.
- Ability to manage retail pharmacy operations.
- Effective communication skills.

- Schedule: Full time, day shifts.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $23.20 - $30.25 per hour.
