About the role#
This position offers practical experience for pharmacy students within a community retail setting. You will work in a locally owned store, gaining exposure to the daily operations of a pharmacy while developing your professional skills. This role is part-time and provides an opportunity to apply your academic knowledge to real-world patient care.
What you'll do#
- Greet and acknowledge all customers who approach the pharmacy.
- Maintain customer confidentiality and ensure all privacy requirements are met.
- Remain clearly identifiable to the public while on duty.
- Engage in community pharmacy practice to support patient health.
- Improve your communication skills with patients, staff, and other health care workers.
- Build your knowledge of OTC products, drug therapy, disease state management, and patient counseling.
- Learn the skills required to manage a retail pharmacy environment.

- You must be a student currently enrolled in a pharmacy program.

- Compensation: $22.00 - $28.75 per hour, depending on experience and location.
