Pharmacy Student

About the role#

This position offers practical, real-world training for pharmacy students within a community retail environment. You will work in a locally owned and operated store, gaining exposure to the expanding roles of a community pharmacist while preparing for a successful career in the field.

What you'll do#

• Deliver health, beauty, and convenience services to the community.
• Manage daily operations within a retail pharmacy setting.
• Provide an exceptional shopping and service experience for all pharmacy customers.
• Ensure all privacy requirements are met, including maintaining customer confidentiality and managing consent.
• Maintain visibility to the public while on duty.

What you'll need#

• Enrollment in a relevant program, such as Pharmaceutical Sciences, Nursing, Health Administration, or Biomedical Sciences.
• Ability to proactively acknowledge customers as they approach the pharmacy.
• Knowledge of over-the-counter (OTC) products.
• Understanding of drug therapy and disease state management.
• Patient counseling skills.
