About the role#
This role provides practical experience for pharmacy students in a community retail setting. You will work in a locally owned Shoppers Drug Mart store, gaining real world training to supplement your academic studies. The position focuses on learning the expanding roles of a community pharmacist, including patient counseling, disease state management, and retail pharmacy operations.
What you'll do#
- Greet all customers who approach the pharmacy.
- Manage customer confidentiality and consent processes.
- Ensure all privacy requirements are met.
- Maintain a professional appearance so you are clearly identifiable to the public.
- Help deliver health, beauty, and convenience services to the community.
