About the role#
This position offers practical experience for pharmacy students within a community pharmacy setting. You will work in a locally owned Shoppers Drug Mart store, gaining real-world training that complements your academic studies. The role focuses on patient interaction, retail pharmacy operations, and the evolving responsibilities of a community pharmacist.
What you'll do#
- Greet and acknowledge all customers who approach the pharmacy.
- Maintain strict privacy standards, including customer confidentiality and proper consent management.
- Remain clearly identifiable to the public while on duty.
- Develop skills in patient communication, disease state management, and drug therapy.
- Learn to manage retail pharmacy operations and gain knowledge of over-the-counter products.

- Current enrollment as a pharmacy student.

- Location: 351 Cornwall Road, Olde Oakville Marketplace, Oakville, Ontario.
- Schedule: Weekends only.
- Employment type: Part-time, hourly.
- Pay range: $22.00 to $28.75 per hour, depending on experience and location.
