About the role#
This position offers practical experience for pharmacy students within a community retail setting. You will work in a locally owned store while gaining exposure to the expanding roles of a community pharmacist. The role focuses on enhancing your academic background through real world training in patient counseling, disease state management, and retail pharmacy operations.
What you'll do#
- Acknowledge all customers who approach the pharmacy.
- Manage retail pharmacy operations and day to day tasks.
- Ensure all privacy requirements are met, including consent management and customer confidentiality.
- Remain clearly identifiable to the public while on duty.
- Engage in community pharmacy practice to support patient health and wellness.
