About the role#
This position offers practical experience for pharmacy students within a community retail setting. You will work in a locally owned store while gaining exposure to the expanding roles of a community pharmacist. The role is designed to bridge the gap between academic studies and real world pharmacy practice.
What you'll do#
- Greet all customers who approach the pharmacy.
- Manage customer confidentiality and ensure all privacy requirements are met.
- Maintain a professional appearance so you are clearly identifiable to the public.
- Improve your communication skills with patients, staff, and other health care professionals.
- Develop your knowledge of OTC products, disease state management, drug therapy, and patient counseling.
- Learn the operational skills required to manage a retail pharmacy.

- Current enrollment in a pharmacy program.

- This role is located in Vancouver, British Columbia.
- The position is on-site and part-time with flexible shifts.
- Compensation ranges from $22.00 to $28.75 per hour, depending on experience and location.
