About the role#
This position offers practical experience for pharmacy students within a community retail setting. You will work in a locally owned store while gaining exposure to the expanding roles of a community pharmacist. The role focuses on helping you transition your academic knowledge into a real-world environment.
What you'll do#
- Greet and acknowledge all customers who approach the pharmacy.
- Maintain customer confidentiality and manage consent to ensure all privacy requirements are met.
- Remain clearly identifiable to the public while on shift.
- Engage in community pharmacy practice to support patient health.
- Improve your communication skills by interacting with patients, store employees, and other health care workers.
- Apply your knowledge of OTC products, disease state management, drug therapy, and patient counseling.
- Learn the operational skills required to manage a retail pharmacy.

- You must be a current pharmacy student.

- Employment Type: Part-time with flexible shifts.
- Compensation: $22.00 to $28.75 per hour.
