About the role#
This position offers pharmacy students practical experience in a community pharmacy setting. You will work in a locally owned store to support health services while gaining real world training to supplement your academic studies. This is a part-time, on-site role.
What you'll do#
- Greet all customers who approach the pharmacy.
- Maintain privacy standards, including confidentiality and consent management.
- Remain clearly identifiable to the public while on duty.
- Build knowledge regarding OTC products, drug therapy, disease state management, and patient counseling.
- Participate in training to prepare for a career in community pharmacy.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a pharmacy program.
- Ability to work weekends only.
- A focus on providing a positive experience for pharmacy customers.
- A willingness to learn about community pharmacy practices.
Location & details#
- Location: Port Coquitlam, British Columbia.
- Pay: $21.00 to $33.00 per hour.
- Schedule: Weekends only.
- Term: Rolling.
