About the role#
This position provides pharmacy students with practical experience in a community pharmacy setting. You will work in a retail environment designed to supplement your academic studies with real-world training. You will report to a local Associate-Owner while receiving support from the broader Shoppers Drug Mart network.
What you'll do#
- Greet all customers who approach the pharmacy.
- Maintain customer confidentiality and manage consent in line with privacy requirements.
- Remain clearly identifiable to the public while on shift.
- Learn about the expanding responsibilities of a community pharmacist.
- Improve your communication skills when interacting with patients, staff, and other health care professionals.
- Develop your knowledge of OTC products, disease state management, drug therapy, and patient counseling.
- Gain experience in the day-to-day management of a retail pharmacy.
What you'll need#
- You must be currently enrolled as a pharmacy student.

- This role is located at 3277 Cambie Street, Vancouver, BC.
- This is an on-site, part-time position.
- The pay range for this role is $22.00 to $28.75 per hour, depending on experience and location.
- This is a paid position with a rolling term.
