About the role#
This position offers pharmacy students practical experience within a community pharmacy setting. You will work in a retail environment designed to supplement your academic studies and prepare you for a career as a pharmacist. You will work for a locally owned store while gaining access to the resources of a national brand.
What you'll do#
- Greet customers as they approach the pharmacy.
- Manage customer confidentiality and ensure all privacy requirements are met.
- Maintain a professional appearance so you are clearly identifiable to the public.
- Gain experience in disease state management, drug therapy, and patient counseling.
- Develop skills in retail pharmacy operations and communication with patients and healthcare workers.

- Current enrollment in a Pharmaceutical Sciences program.

- Location: 665 Stonehaven Avenue, Newmarket, Ontario.
- Employment type: Part-time, hourly.
- Pay range: $22.00 to $28.75 per hour.
