About the role#
This position offers pharmacy students practical experience within a community pharmacy setting. You will work in a retail environment designed to supplement your academic studies with real world training. You will learn the expanding roles of a community pharmacist and gain skills necessary to manage a retail pharmacy operation.
What you'll do#
- Greet all customers who approach the pharmacy.
- Maintain customer confidentiality and handle consent management.
- Ensure all privacy requirements are met.
- Remain clearly identifiable to the public while on duty.
- Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and health care workers.
- Build your knowledge of OTC products, disease state management, drug therapy, and patient counseling.
What you'll need#
- You must be currently enrolled in a pharmacy program.

- Location: 6025 Almon Street, Halifax, Nova Scotia.
- Schedule: Part time with flexible shifts.
- Work modality: On-site.
