About the role#
This position offers pharmacy students practical experience in a community pharmacy setting. You will work in a locally owned store while gaining exposure to the daily operations of a retail pharmacy. The role is designed to prepare students for future careers as pharmacists by providing real world training that complements your academic studies.
What you'll do#
- Greet all customers who approach the pharmacy.
- Manage customer confidentiality, consent, and privacy requirements.
- Maintain a professional presence and ensure you are clearly identifiable to the public.
- Learn about the expanding responsibilities of a community pharmacist.
- Develop skills in managing a retail pharmacy.
- Improve your communication with patients, staff, and other health care workers.
- Expand your knowledge of OTC products, drug therapy, disease state management, and patient counseling.

- Current enrollment in a program for a future pharmacist role.

- Employment Type: Part-time, flexible shifts.
- Compensation: $22.00 - $28.75 per hour, based on experience and location.
