About the role#
This position offers practical experience for pharmacy students within a community retail setting. You will work in a locally owned store while gaining exposure to the daily operations of a pharmacy. This role is designed to support your academic learning through real world training.
What you'll do#
- Greet all customers who approach the pharmacy.
- Manage customer confidentiality and ensure all privacy requirements are met.
- Maintain a clear and professional presence for the public.
- Learn about the expanding roles of a community pharmacist.
- Improve your communication skills with patients, staff, and other health care workers.
- Build your knowledge of OTC products, disease state management, drug therapy, and patient counseling.
- Develop the skills required to manage a retail pharmacy.

- Current enrollment in a pharmacy program.

- Pay range: $21.00 to $27.50 per hour.
